Even Google Makes Mistakes

Despite its enormous resources, even Google had trouble with English. Note the obvious typo in the change log fit Google Earth fit Android.

iPad Introduction as Captioned by Google

Google Buzz

Now with yet another Twitter-like service, Google Buzz, in my life, it's getting even harder to have everything go everywhere, automatically and still prevent circular routing issues in my online life. Someone needs to form a basis for generating unique identifiers for all the sort of stuff that gets pushed into these services so that duplicats generated by having the various available services cross-posting would be automatically culled from the stream of content and updates.

Media and Popular Opinion

This is in some ways a response to my last post, but even so, it stands well on its own. The video above raises some interesting points about the power of modern media to influence popular opinion in this nation. I'm still perturbed that Dr. Ron Paul has received as little attention in mainstream news as he has thus far. However, the dangers of being on the wrong side of the Media can be seen almost as clearly in the ongoing struggle between Senators Obama and Clinton. The comparison of Google Trends data and number of hits on YouTube! for various candidates does provide some interesting numbers to consider. A good Google Trends search here shows all of them together and restricted to searches from the US, within the last twelve months.

Embed Google Presentations

In a post from Google Blogoscoped, it seems that Google has improved users' ability to embed a Google Docs presentation in another website. For those of you who are impatient -- and partly because I thought it was really funny, below is the example from the article.
